After graduating from Istanbul Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty (Trakya Medical Staff TIC), I started my specialization training in Istanbul University Medical Faculty Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department in 1987.

After 6 months, I went to the Netherlands and worked for 8 months at Leiden University Lumburg University Lucas Rehabilitation Centers, then I went to the United States.

I received the title of professor and served as the Head of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department at Maltepe University Medical Faculty between 2005-2010.
