Cellulite Treatment

Women are less fortunate than men in terms of muscle and connective tissue. We all know that men do not have cellulite, men’s legs do not sag, but why?

Because men’s muscles and connective tissue are stronger and more resistant than women. So, as women, what we need to fight against is not fat tissue but muscle and connective tissue.

For years, beauty centers have been dealing with women’s fat accumulation, muscle and leg sagging under the name of cellulite treatment. When it comes to cellulite, as if the only culprit was fat tissue, seaweed treatments, local creams and superficial massages have been used to try to give the legs and body a tight and lively shape.

Years later, when the subject of cellulite was addressed by doctors, it was seen that in order to combat cellulite, the functioning of muscles, connective tissue, lymphatic flow, blood circulation and fat tissue should be regulated. For this, appropriate treatment should be planned for each and the application should be carried out by experts in the field.

The woman went to a center. Wrong or inadequate treatment was given. What could happen?

For example; (Lymph Drainage, LPG) If not applied by physiotherapists, lymph flow may be disrupted. If the lymphatic system does not work, blood circulation disorders may occur. If the patient has an infection after the ultrasound application, the event accelerates and the infection progresses. If the muscle devices are connected to the wrong place, the functioning of the muscles is disrupted and this disrupts the body’s mechanics. Therefore, inappropriate cellulite treatment can disrupt the woman’s health to an unimaginable extent and cause imbalances.

What can happen if a woman with cellulite ignores this issue?

The gradual increase in cellulite can disrupt lymph flow and cause swelling and edema in the legs. Edema in the lower legs and feet can cause pain, numbness and cramps. The progressive increase in edema can also lead to hypertension and impaired blood circulation.
Cellulite also causes muscle strength to decrease. This event leads to calcification and joint deterioration, especially in the knee and hip joints.

Treatment:

Cellulite is the name given to the folded appearance of the skin, which is accompanied by painful nodules in the connective tissue, and creates an orange peel appearance in the epidermis. Among the factors that cause cellulite, the disruption of circulation and lymph drainage play an important role. The balance between progesterone and folliculin at the hormonal level ensures that fluid intake and output are regular.

Any hormonal disorder leads to significant changes in intracellular fluid. As a result of this microcirculation disorder, edema occurs and leads to fluid accumulation inside the cell.

The disorder in the circulatory system also disrupts the normal functioning of fat cells, causing an increase in the synthesis of triglycerides, their accumulation and clustering in the cell, and the increase in cell diameter. This event continues and grows, leading to nodule formations. As a side effect of the blood circulation disorder, tissue temperature decreases and metabolism slows down.

The symptoms of cellulite are edema, pain and an orange peel appearance on the skin.
